Auditions are open to everyone in the community. All actors receive a $100 honorarium as of the 2024-2025 season.
TRP hires professional artistic directors for each production. The audition process varies from show to show (e.g., readings from the script vs. prepared monologues). The theatre encourages its directors in inclusive casting (ethnic/racial background, gender, disability, etc.).
