Dann has directed 25+ previous shows in the arena (most recently Jeeves in Bloom) and has acted in 20 others. For more than 40 years, Dann has performed in and directed shows at Yellow Tree, Bloomington Civic, Cross Community Players, Off-Broadway Musical Theatre, Freshwater Theater Company, Pioneer Place in St. Cloud, Open Window, 20% Theatre, Park Square, Lyric Arts, and many more. A graduate of Augsburg College in Minneapolis with a Master’s in theatre arts from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, he retired from teaching after 34 years with the Roseville School District as an English teacher and drama director. He now works as a freelance actor, director, and commercial talent.
