On November 10, 1975, the S.S. Edmund Fitzgerald sank during a storm in Lake Superior, taking with it 30 men. Inspired by the Gordon Lightfoot song “The Wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald,” this docudrama is a compelling inquiry into the unanswered questions about that real tragedy through historical research, theatrical exploration, and achingly beautiful folk music. Capturing the emotion of a community in collective mourning, Ten November is a powerful reflection of those left behind after astronomical loss.
