In October, 1952, members of the defunct Circle Theatre, which had performed in the Calhoun Beach Hotel, meet to begin a new group, Theatre in the Round Players.
The new theatre debuts with “Life with Father”, opening January 15, 1953 at the YWCA at 12th and Nicollet in downtown Minneapolis (its home until 1963).
