Audition Information: Doubt A Parable

Performs: weekends September 23-October 16 and a PWYC night on Monday, October 3

COVID Precautions​

  • Rehearsals and performance will be in-person, indoors. All cast members must be fully vaccinated or have proof of medical exemption. TRP will continue to monitor positivity rates in the metro area and will follow recommendations provided by Federal, State, CDC, and industry guidelines to ensure a safe environment for all.

In-Person Auditions​

  • Auditions will be held on Sunday, July 10 and Monday, July 11 from 7 to 9 pm. Doors open at 6:00pm.
  • Auditions will consist of readings from the script.
  • Sign up for an audition to submit a digital resume and/or headshot.

Advance sign up is recommended, but not required. If NOT completing the online form, please bring a headshot and resume.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS

SISTER ALOYISUS – (Female-identifying, 50s/60s): The head nun and principal of St Nicholas Parish and School in the Bronx.

FATHER BRENDAN FLYNN – (Male-identifying, 30s/40s): A white Catholic priest at St. Nicholas.

SISTER JAMES – (Female-identifying, 20s): A member of the Sisters of Charity in the Bronx and a new teacher at St. Nicholas.

MRS. MULLER – (Female-identifying, 30s/40s): An African-American woman, the mother of Donald Muller, a new student at St. Nicholas
