Miriam Monasch

Miriam has worked as an actor and director, primarily in the Twin Cities, for 40 years.  Favorite stage roles include Amanda in Glass Menagerie for Park Square Theatre, Linda in Death of a Salesman for Starting Gate Theatre and Mama in ‘Night Mother for Workhouse theatre (which won an Ivey Award in 2008). Directing credits include Murderess, The Most Massive Woman Wins and For Worse for Theatre Unbound; My Name Is Asher Lev and Our Class (2012 Ivey Award for direction) for the Minnesota Jewish Theatre; and 2017’s production of Steel Magnolias for Commonweal Theatre.  Miriam is excited to be able to direct for TRP after playing numerous roles on its stage (including the title character in The Madwoman of Chaillot, Kate in Broadway Bound and Evelyn in Kindertransport).
